McEvoy Ranch, a distinguished producer of olive oil, wine, and culinary products, embarked on a transformative journey with Shopify Plus to modernize their online presence, future-proof their business, and unlock the full potential of the Shopify app ecosystem. The migration from Magento to Shopify Plus was driven by the need to increase revenues, enhance user experience, and leverage advanced e-commerce functionalities.
Re-platforming to Shopify Plus

This critical move was designed to harness Shopify’s powerful app ecosystem and improve the overall scalability and functionality of their site. A primary focus was to modernize the website’s design and infrastructure to not only look more contemporary but also drive substantial revenue increases.
Data Migration & App Integrations
Facing the challenge of integrating with Fishbowl Inventory, a third-party fulfillment and inventory management system, we employed Matrixify, a data migration app, to ensure a seamless transition. This allowed us to migrate customer, order, and product data, preserving the integrity and continuity of McEvoy Ranch’s operations without disrupting their existing workflows.
App Integrations for Enhanced Functionality
To address McEvoy Ranch’s diverse promotional strategies and improve site functionality, we implemented a carefully selected suite of Shopify apps. This included Discount Ninja for tailored promotions, Klaviyo for advanced email marketing, Shogun Page Builder for custom layouts, Stamped.io for customer reviews, and ReCharge for subscription management, among others. Each application was integrated to enhance the shopping experience and meet specific business needs.
E-Commerce First UX
The new website design prioritizes the e-commerce experience, inviting users to engage directly with an array of products.
